It's designed to be used as a training exercise for learning Android programming, but if you find it useful for your own projects, you can use it for them as well.
The basic idea is that you'll be able to create a new project and add as many counts as you want to it. You can also edit existing counts and links, and you can use the alerts to keep track of how many stitches you need to complete a pattern.
